Since the KZN Zuma unrest’s transport and infrastructure crisis Gratiari Social Development and Education is feeding families in crisis within our municipal district. We currently feed white, coloured, black and indian families who all sit with the same problem: hunger, loss of income and no transport. It is a logistical nightmare under these circumstances and we need your help.

We do not discriminate based on race, religion or political convictions, as is always our policy.

Throughout the year we run various community projects within the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality. On a daily basis, we combat Gender Based Violence, Discrimination in the Workplace, Conservation issues, Bullying and Poverty and support a number of Early Childhood Development Centres in a number of ways to reach sustainability.

We are volunteer-run and not government-funded. We solely rely on fundraising and community contributions to expand and maintain the work we do. We are appealing for support from you on this day of giving back to the community, so we can do our work on every other day of the year stay up to date with our relevant training and to stay afloat in the many areas we are involved in.

If possible please deliver, otherwise we will plan to collect as there is a fuel shortage in our area. Alternatively, please deposit to our NPO bank account and we will negotiate stock availability and price with our local businesses who supported us throughout lockdown.
